Obejor Computers Set to Unveil E-commerce Platform October 9

Obejor Computers, a Nigerian technology and electronics company, is set to unveil its e-commerce platform on October 9, 2026, as part of efforts to expand its digital operations and make technology products more accessible to consumers and institutions.

The company, a member of the Obejor Group, said the new platform is designed to enable customers to search for, compare and purchase a wide range of technology products online.

Other companies under the Obejor Group include Obejor & Obejor Resources Nigeria and ObejorDev.

Speaking in an exclusive interview at the company’s head office on Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, the Managing Director, Ndubuisi Okechukwu Obed, said the platform was developed after months of planning and work by the company’s team.

Obed said the initiative was not intended to be merely another online retail platform but a marketplace serving individual consumers, businesses and public institutions.

“We are not simply opening another online shop,” he said. “We are building a marketplace where a student, a small business owner, a hospital or a government agency can find the right technology, at the right price, and have it delivered to them without stress.”

According to him, the platform will feature products including laptops, desktop computers, smartphones, printers, networking equipment, smart televisions, power solutions and electric vehicles, with additional products expected to be added based on market demand.

He said customers would be able to search products by category, compare specifications and prices, check availability, save items to a wishlist and make payments through bank transfers, debit or credit cards, as well as Pay on Delivery where applicable.

The platform will also provide order tracking, customer reviews, live chat support and a mobile-friendly interface.

“Our goal is to make technology easier to find, easier to buy, easier to receive, and easier to trust,” Obed said.

On delivery, he said eligible orders within Lagos could be delivered the same day or the following day, while customers in major cities could receive their orders within 24 to 72 hours.

He said the company would work with logistics partners, including Speedaf, to support its delivery operations.

Obed said building customer confidence would remain a major priority for the company, particularly given concerns among Nigerian consumers about online purchases.

“Trust is everything in this business,” he said. “Customers must know that what they see is what they get, and that if there is a problem, there is a team ready to help with returns, replacement, repairs or warranty support.”

He also disclosed that the platform would cater to institutional buyers through dedicated business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-government (B2G) channels.

According to him, companies, schools, hospitals, non-governmental organisations and government agencies would be able to request quotations and place bulk orders based on their specific requirements.

Obejor Computers was incorporated in July 2023 and co-founded by Obed and Ndubuisi Chioma, both of whom are directors of the company.

The company currently has operations in Anambra, Imo and Delta states, in addition to its Lagos headquarters.

Obed attributed the company’s growth to the contributions of its teams in sales, procurement, logistics, customer service and digital operations.

He said the company plans to expand its physical presence to more states, while also establishing additional outlets, pickup points and distribution hubs.

The Managing Director further disclosed that Obejor Computers was deploying artificial intelligence-enabled customer service as part of its plans to improve interaction with customers.

He said the company was also considering expansion into selected West African markets in the future.

“This is only the beginning,” Obed said. “We want Obejor Computers to be a technology partner Nigerians can truly trust.”

With the October 9 launch date approaching, the company said customers, vendors and prospective partners would be able to engage with it through its telephone, email and social media channels.
