The 81 Division Chapter of the Nigerian Army Officers wives Association(NAOWA), has donated food items and palliatives such as bags of rice, cartons of milk, bags of Semovita, mattresses, diapers, and other relief items to Hearts of Gold Children’s hospice home Surulere, Lagos in commemoration of the Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL) 2022.

The NAOWA delegation was led by the Chairperson 81 Division Chapter NAOWA, Mrs Aisha Musa who was represented by Mrs Laraba Joyce Onyeuko. According to her, the gesture was part of the NAOWA activities to commemorate NADCEL 2022 and to identify with motherless babies in Lagos with the belief that every Nigerian deserves basic care. She further said NAOWA has wanted to reach out to the most vulnerable people to help them meet their basic needs. She, therefore, called on all Nigerians to lend a helping hand in alleviating the suffering of motherless babies.

Responding to the kind gesture, the founder of Heart of Gold children hospice Mrs Laja Adedoyin appreciated the NAOWA chairperson and her entourage for the charity. They prayed that the almighty God bless and reward the association for the donated items.
