A delegation from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) visited the Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology (NNSAT) in Kachia for a familiarization tour.

The visit aimed to expose future military leaders to the Nigerian Navy’s weaponry and equipment. The AFCSC, known for training military officers for higher command, saw this as a valuable opportunity for its students to gain insights into the Navy’s capabilities.

Militarynewsng.com learnt that the visit was to expose military personnel to the Nigerian Navy’s weaponry and equipment. Participants include 24 staff officers and 432 students from AFCSC, including personnel from the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, and foreign countries.
It is expected that the visit would enable improved understanding of security challenges through inter-service collaboration, especially as it underscores the importance of inter-service cooperation in addressing security challenges in Nigeria. By sharing knowledge and resources, the armed forces can enhance their effectiveness in combating threats to national security.

The visit of the AFCSC delegation to NNSAT is a significant step towards enhancing inter-service cooperation in Nigeria’s armed forces.

While the primary focus of the visit was exposure to naval weaponry and equipment, it’s likely that the discussions extended beyond this.
