The newly appointed Chief of Defence Space Administration Rear Admiral Nnamdi Anthony Mougilim as assumed command following the recent promotion and redeployment in the Nigerian Military.
He took over from Rear Admiral Williams Onovuhe Kayoda.
Speaking during the handing and taking over ceremony which took place at Headquarters Defence Space Administration, Admiral Mougilim appreciated his predecessor R/Adm Kayoda who has proceeded on retirement for his efforts in taking the Administration to greater heights.
He enjoined the Directors, Officers, Men and Civilian Staff to work as a team for the success of the Administration. Until his present appointment, Rear Admiral Nnamdi Muogilim was the Director of Equipment, Standardization and Harmonization, Defence Headquarters.
Earlier, the Acting CDSA Major General GB Audu who handed over the mantle of leadership to the incumbent CDSA, commended officers and men of the Administration as well as civilian staff for their hard work and dedication. He urged them to continue to do their best to ensure that the job does not suffer. He also thanked them for the support they gave to him within the period he served as the Acting CDSA and urged them to give same or better support to the incoming CDSA.
Highlight of the ceremony which took place at the Defence Space Administration at Lugbe Airport Road, Abuja included the signing of the handing and taking over notes as well as group photograph.
