Sen. Abdul’aziz Yari (APC-Zamfara), has charged newly recruited soldiers of the Nigerian Army to put national interest over their personal interest.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Saturday by the Chairman, Publicity Committee, Sen Yari Political Organization, Mallam Ibrahim Muhammad.
Yari gave the charge on Saturday in Zaria while addressing the 74 new army recruits from his constituency at the Passing Out Parade (POP) of 87 Regular Recruits Intake at the Depot in Zaria, Kaduna State.
Yari, who was represented by the Coordinator of his Constituency Office, Alhaji Sha’aya Yusuf, urged the recruits from the six local government areas of his constituency to be professionals in the discharge of their duties.
He expressed his commitment to continue to provide quality representation and employment opportunities to his constituents to check idleness among the youths.
“As leaders of tomorrow, you are now given the opportunity to contribute in tackling the security situation of our dear nation.” (NAN)
