President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has promoted the Acting Chief of Army Staff Major General Olufemi Oluyede to the rank Lieutenant General (Three Star general).
It was learnt that the decoration ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday, following Oluyede’s recent appointment as acting army chief.
This promotion elevates Oluyede from his previous rank of Major General, underscoring the President’s confidence in his leadership and commitment to bolstering the nation’s security.
