It was a sad day for military personnel residing in the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) Oshodi as an alleged drunken driver inside the barrack kocked down and killed a Brigadier General attached to the finance unit of the centre.
Witnesses told militarynewsng.com that the personnel who was identified as Corporal Abayomi Ebun is soldier residing inside the Old barrack of the NAFRC in Lagos and was spotted earlier driving recklessly inside the barrack.
The witness said that the Brigadier General who was identified as Brigadier General O.A James was the Director of Finance at the centre and was walking to his residence inside the barrack when he was knocked down by the soldier.
It was learnt that the Brigadier General was immediately rushed to NAFRC medical Cnetre where he was confirmed dead.
