The Director of Naval Education, Commodore A.O. Ogunleye, has visited the Headquarters of Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC) in Ebubu Eleme, Rivers State.
The visit marked Commodore Ogunleye’s first official tour since his recent appointment. During his time in Port Harcourt, the Director aimed to familiarize himself with Nigerian Navy welfare schools within the area, underscoring the Navy’s commitment to enhancing educational standards and welfare for its personnel and their families.
He was warmly received by the Acting Flag Officer Commanding, Rear Admiral Adedotun.O. Ayo-Vaughan.
This engagement reflects the Nigerian Navy’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its training and welfare infrastructure, ensuring its personnel remain adequately supported in their service to the nation.
