Suspected gunmen have killed a personnel of the Nigerian Navy who was identified as, Ordinary Seaman Harrison in the Ajegunle Lagos.
Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Lagos State Command, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the killing and added that nobody had been arrested in connection with the killing
The deceased naval officer was until the incident serving at the Lagos Logistics Depot of the Nigerian Navy and his corpse had been deposited at the Nigerian Navy hospital morgue in Ojo
The killing of the naval officer occurred less than a year after a female officer was also reportedly killed in the area .
It was gathered that the killing of the officer has created serious panic as colleagues of the deceased officer are threatening a reprisal on the area where the body of the naval personnel was allegedly found .
Meanwhile , the Authority of of the Nigerian Navy has cautioned its officers in the area from moving around in the night .
