The Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Finance and Administration (NASFA), Major General Monday Ihanuwaze, and the Honourable Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Lagos State, Honourable Hafeez Adekunle, on Tuesday, paid separate courtesy visits to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Farouk Mijinyawa, at the Division’s Headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The visits, which took place on October 7, 2025, were aimed at strengthening existing collaborations and fostering greater synergy between the 81 Division, NASFA, and the PCC for improved service delivery and institutional effectiveness.

During his visit, the Commandant of NASFA, Major General Ihanuwaze, reaffirmed his commitment to consolidating the long-standing relationship between the school and the 81 Division. He pledged to sustain NASFA’s high professional standards in the training of clerical and accounting personnel within the Nigerian Army.

Responding, Major General Mijinyawa congratulated the NASFA Commandant on his appointment and commended his efforts in maintaining excellence at the institution. The GOC also assured him of the Division’s continued support in promoting academic and professional development within the Nigerian Army.

In a related development, Honourable Hafeez Adekunle, the PCC Commissioner for Lagos State, also visited the GOC and sought enhanced collaboration to enable the Commission to effectively discharge its mandate of addressing public grievances.

Major General Mijinyawa reaffirmed the Nigerian Army’s commitment to fairness, justice, and transparency, stressing that the Army maintains an effective internal mechanism for addressing complaints and ensuring discipline within its ranks.

Both visits were rounded off with the exchange of souvenirs and group photographs, symbolizing the renewed partnership and strengthened institutional ties between the Nigerian Army, NASFA, and the Public Complaints Commission.
