Lagos – On Thursday, September 12, 2024, the Nigerian Navy held a landmark workshop titled “Navigating Commercial Waters: Market Strategies for the Nigerian Navy” at the Admiralty Conference Center, Naval Dockyard Limited, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event, led by Rear Admiral B. Iyalla, Managing Director and CEO of Naval Engineering Services Limited (NESL), was organized in collaboration with Prime Atlantic Global Engineering Services.

The workshop aimed to boost the Navy’s operational capacity by exploring innovative strategies for market expansion and sustainable success. Key topics discussed included market penetration, strategic alliances, partnership development, and the integration of best practices for the Nigerian Navy’s long-term growth.

Rear Admiral J.D. Akpan, Chief of Policy and Plans, was the Special Guest of Honour. The event was also attended by Rear Admirals L.C. Izu and H.D. Zakaria.

In his address, Rear Admiral Iyalla emphasized NESL’s expertise in engineering services, logistics, manufacturing, and training, positioning the company as a leader in providing comprehensive engineering solutions. He highlighted the importance of collaboration in driving innovation and solidifying the Navy’s commitment to excellence.

The workshop marked a significant step towards enhancing the Nigerian Navy’s strategic capabilities and fostering growth through effective partnerships and innovation.
