Calabar, July 9, 2025 – The Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Mobility Command of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal S.K. Aneke, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) Eastern Naval Command, Rear Admiral K.C. Ezete, at the command headquarters in Essien Town, Calabar.
The visit was aimed at strengthening the longstanding relationship between the Nigerian Air Force and the Nigerian Navy, with both service chiefs reaffirming their commitment to deepening inter-service collaboration.
During the meeting, the two senior officers held discussions centered on sustaining and enhancing joint operational efforts, with particular emphasis on air reconnaissance support and information sharing in the South-South region.
Air Vice Marshal Aneke congratulated Rear Admiral Ezete on his recent appointment and assured him of the Air Force’s full support throughout his tenure. In his remarks, Rear Admiral Ezete appreciated the AOC’s visit and pledged the Navy’s continuous readiness to foster mutual cooperation in securing Nigeria’s maritime and coastal interests.
The engagement reflects ongoing efforts by the Nigerian Armed Forces to promote synergy among sister services in the execution of national security responsibilities.
